Paper Succulent, Scalloped Edge in Vintage Teacup
Succulents are meticulously designed and then digitally cut using quality, archival, heavyweight cardstocks and papers. Pieces are carefully shaped and embellished, then assembled into botanical sculptures with my own two hands.
The pale, minty green paper succulent is edged with copper Panpastel and "planted" on top of preserved moss, in an vintage Royal Albert Bone China teacup. The gold detail on the handle and rim of the cup is very worn, but lovely just the same. It is miss-matched with an antique French porcelain saucer. Saucer is marked with JPL France, for Jean Pouyat, Limoges France, circa 1890-1932.
This delightful, one-of-a-kind arrangement is long lasting and requires very little care, aside from a light dusting now and then. Care instructions included.
